Greg,
Can you (or someone) post directions to Jeff's place? I wouldn't mind seeing the new cat-beast on the dyno!
Les,
Are we having a club meet in the East End that night also?
Jim.

Jim,
You take the 401 to Kennedy, and drive south.
You will turn left at "Munham Gate", which is an intersection.
You will then drive down that street, which ends shortly, and turn left when it does. You then drive down a slight grade to some commercial buildings on your right hand side. The street will also end in a court. As for the exact address, I do not know, but one of those buildings towards the end on the right has J&P in it, so you will see Mustangs and race trailers from the road. I believe it is the second last building. You then wrap around that building and Jeff's is the first unit on the other side.
I'd like to attend also, but have a hockey game at 8:00pm. I hate to miss it! Everyone should go out and support Greg as he joins the 300 club!!!!

Greg,
I'll double-check at home, but I think I can make it. Is Jeff available for other cars to dyno after yours??? I'd love to strap down my 'Bird too! :D

Guys, I didn't see this thread before ... I've just posted for a meet tomorrow night at the Monk & Firkin in Scarborough. So anyway, that works out OK I think, anybody who goes by the dyno can stop by the restaurant later if they want to.
cheers

Sean he said he was totally open tommorrow night so you'd better call him and book it first thing as you never know with him as it wouldnt be the first time he hasn't shown up although I know he means well but the more that is booked the better the chances of him showing up.The only reason I keep going there is because I like him and he is flexable.Chit happens.I think I might take my stock jackshaft and change it and see the results. After all this I will head to the meet wich is a good through from center feild to home plate away!!Ya baby. I was actually counting on the meeting be out there tommorrow so I could kill 2 birds with one baseball.:D :D :D :D :D :D :D

OK. Thanks, Greg. I'll try to talk to Jeff this morning. Perhaps I can book him for 8:00 or 8:15 PM to give me a chance to make the drive from my place.
I'll post if I have any luck!
Cheers,
Sean

Can someone ask Jeff what he has programed into his CPU for the height ABOVE sea level. I'm interested to see what he will say.
Greg good luck.

Sean, are you still planning on attending the dyno session??

Steve,
It's my intent to leave my place at 6:30 this evening headed for Jeff's. I still haven't been able to talk to Jeff, but I did leave him a message stating that I'd like to dyno after Greg, with my arrival no later than 8:15 PM.
I have yet to receive a call from Jeff indicating whether this is OK, but I'm thinking I'll take my chances and make the trip anyways. Heck, it would still be nice to be present when Mr. Coleman breaks the 300 RWHP barrier!!! ;)
Steve, I hope to see you and/or Jason Wild there. I'd really like to capture this dyno session on video with audio. Too many people have been asking for sound clips of my exhaust, and I figured this might be the perfect opportunity to acquire something like that.
Best regards,
Sean

Less than I expected do to a few things such as I think I ran to much octaine boost like I do every time I go to the dyno so I think I've fouled up my plugs and maybe even the O2 sensors wich of course the comp is not getting proper readings and can not jive together properly and the fact that I'm running the wrong plugs with the wrong gap like stock plugs with stock gap.So I've got to change the plugs and the gap with a little tweeking here and there and I think I'll get another 10 or so horse and back to the dyno I go with no octaine boost and possibly to another dyno just to satisfy my couriousity. But for now I gained 10.1 horsepower and 23.2 torque at the wheels. So from 293.8 horse to 303.9 and from 368.2 torque to 391.4 at the wheels.

Greg,
I will see what I can do about posting the video.
I'm sure you will see a lot more power with doing some little things to the car like spark plugs as well if you can see the A/F that might tell if you need more fuel.
O2 sensers are not used at WOT.
Way to go making over 300RWHP

Thanks there buddy.I learned today talking to Dr.Fred on the phone about last night and he told me about the O2's not working at WOT.You know I've been around cars all my life and I used to do most of my own mechanical on suspensions and so on,on the cars I worked on and I always took an interrest in motors and stuff and I dont know why I never got into it.I guess I was to busy making money and straightening frames and had no time.Apparently my real father was a class A mechanic and didn't know how to do body work but was always interrested.Ironic ha?I should explain that I never knew my father that well.I guess the two of us should have stuck together.Anyhow what I'm getting at is I've never learned so much about engines as I have over the last 4 1/2 years since I've joined this club, and am still learning. One thing for sure I'm deffinitly one impatient SOB. But I guess we all learn together, thanks guys:D

Greg,
You have nothing to be disappointed about. Like I said last night, make a list of the SCs that run over 300 rwhp with a stock cam, and then we'll talk about how much power you should have! I think your car is capable of 310-315 with better plugs and a tighter gap. You also need to get more powerful fans to draw the heat away from the I/C and radiator, in my opinion.
Next time we go to the dyno, get there early, bring some I/C, and have Fred give you 2 or 3 files to try instead of just one at a time. That is what dyno tuning is all about. You may want to grab some underdrive pulleys and run the stock alternator pulley with a shorter belt, if your budget will allow. I know you've spent a lot of money this year already!
Let me know when you're gonna go back. I should be ready the week after next to try and break 375 rwhp, but who knows what it will do now.

Greg,
we can do some stuff to get more out of your car.:)
One other thing have you ever ran any injector cleaner in your car such as the lucas one?
