do I need a gasket?

between the magnum plenum and the blower port should I have a gasket for that or can I just rtv it?
also has any one ever sealed their IC tubes with fords liquid teflon? I got a bottle of it and its real thick and tacky. I have the tape but I dont feel that provides a good seal.

No gasket there, you need to use Loctites gasket eliminator on that flange.
Does that teflon stuff dry and set up or does it remain in its present state? If it doesnt set up it will not work.

Liquid thread sealant won't work - it does not set up in the presence of oxygen. It is only for sealing the tiny gaps around pipe threads.

A lot of people use silicone RTV instead of the sealing tape.
