NORMAL boost ?

The vacuum the engine pulls is directly related to
A) How much throttle you give it.
B) How many RPMs the engine is turning
If your car can cruise at 70mph with ease, then you wouldn't have to give it much throttle which in turn would make your car pull vacuum.
When you give it more throttle, your car wants to go into boost and if you don't give it much throttle, it'll pull more vacuum.
Also if you notice, when you have it revving at about 3 grand and back off the throttle completely, it'll almost peg the vacuum side of the gauge.

kool... cuz man u know what i noticed about the damn engine... that the previous owner didnt take care of it because so man hoses are not connected to their original destinations and i thought i was going crazy..

generally the higher the vacuum is the better your gas mileage is too , if i stay at 4 pounds of boost or less my car stays in closed loop , that is when the computer is running from the 0 2 sensor better fuel mileage
