Tranny Crossmember problems

It figures, when you work on old rusty cars you're bound to have thoses curveballs thrown at you. Anyway, I'm replacing the tranny in my '91, and I have a problem with the crossmember. The passenger side crossmember bolt is stripped in the hole and will not come out. It will turn all day long but just doesn't loosen up. I'm afraid I'm going to have to drill it out. On the driver side, the bolt came out, but is rusted badly and the threads are shot. It also appears that some of the threading in the hole the bolt goes into has come out too. I'm really at a loss of what to do when I put this thing back together. I cant even tell what theses bolts grab on to. Is there a threaded clip that goes into the hole that the bolt catches to? Has anyone else had this problem? If so, how did you solve it? Any ideas would be greatly appriciated.

Thanks
Brandon

I have mine out, but I do not remember if they use threaded clips or what. I'll be working in the shop later and I'll crawl underneath and find out for you.
