High Idle???

Just today my car started to Idle very high, when I start her up she'll go to 2.500 Rpm and will go down to little under 2.000 Rpm, this also drives like crap, constantly having the engine pull.

What could be the problem? It doesn't seem to be anything mechanical as all parts are free and moving like they should be, perhaps something with the automatic choke?

Idle air control valve. Right side of your throttle body........

Yes you need a new IAC valve. Part # E9SZ-9F715-E get the part from Ford only, the aftermarket ones DO NOT work on an SC even though the parts houses book says it does. Many of us have been down that road and the aftermarket ones just dont work.
