Hey Folks.

Those of you with attention spans longer than Dennis' weiner might have noticed I fell off the face of the planet these past few weeks. Most of you were probably happy about that, so this message is for the one person I have yet to piss off.

Due to a variety of recent unfortunate events, I am unable to attend the Vegas meet. (Hell, I can't even go skiing for a day like I wanted to). I don't have the time nor energy to go into the $50 explanation, but for a quarter: my girlfriend may have totalled her car on Christmas when a nice, elderly Chinese driver thought the red light in the intersection was a Xmas decoration and not a sign to stop (we're still waiting for the adjuster to dig it out from under the snow to take a look at it). It was a 98 Nissan 200 SX with 12k on it. Now its a very expensive paperweight. On the bright side, I can attest that the airbags DO work. They also burn :) But not having a working snow car makes getting up to VT for some skiing a bit difficult...

Of course, my car is buried under 15" of snow and ice, but it doesn't matter since after the crank sensor blew, me beating the crap out of it to keep it from stalling seems to have angered the God of Head Gaskets, and it uses more coolant than gas. Luckily, its only -20 here so a HG swap should be fun...

That's assuming I have time to do it - my boss at work had her kid and decided to take a few months off, leaving me to do my job and her job. Which wouldn't have been too bad had the firm not restructured its personnel leaving me the only person in the NY office to handle every non-NYC case we have....

Oh yeah, and my &^@!?+ modem is broken.

There's more (i.e. my student loan payment just jumped to over $1500/mo. thanks to Mr. Greenspan, pulled groin muscle while walking thru snow drift, you get the idea...)

In any case, I'm not dead (sorry Micah, try a better voodoo curse next time). Maybe, just maybe, if I work a few 14 hour days, I can take off early on Saturday and hit the Mall with you fruitcakes and school Dennis in that stupid video game :) (BTW, Dennis, there's not much to go over in those interrogatories - the "sensitive" stuff is answered already).

Russ. . . Are you trying to tell us you had a bad day? Bummer. . .

But seriously, sorry to hear about your g/f. As long as everyone is ok, that's all that matters (Unless of course you beat the crap out of the other driver, than we're really doing good.)

But I do hear ya brother. Spent $500 on bad computer parts, lost my DSL provider because they can't pay their bills (Damn slow modems) and there was actually a few more bad things that happened last week, but luckily, I can't remember them now.

Don't worry, things will turn around. Hope to see you Saturday.

Russ gave the other driver a wooping then he'd have to defend himself in court. And we know how long that would take, plus he'd miss Sat.
