I recently had a transmission shop rebuild my transmission and install and shift kit and 2300 stall torque converter. The first night i had the car back light smoke started coming from the engine bay. The car still drives the same and i checked the radiator coolant and noticed it was almost empty so i filled it up. The smoke has no odor, doesn't smell like oil or antifreeze and is coming from all around the engine bay.
