Rattler

I've got a rattle in the front end of my 91 SC. I've checked eveything I can think of in that area to see if I could find what might be loose or making the noise. I haven't found anything loose yet. It's not the motor, doesn't rattle unless going down the road. I thought about a shock since it seems to rattle more on bumpy surface roads. I checked where shocks are mounted and they seem tight.

Has anyone got any ideas what might be the cause of the noise? It seems to drive and handle fine, but it's kind of annoying listening to the sound it's making.

have you checked your drivers door hinges
they make a very annoying rattle\click sound when there shot

hehehe, rattler!!! The doors shut firmly and the noise sounds like it's coming more from the front.

I guess maybe I'll have to take it to a front end shop and see if they can figure out what is making the noise.

well dont that fool you -when the door is open -grab it at the end and give it a tug up and down
if thats good-check sway bar links and upper contrl arms 1st

Ok, thanks for the suggestions. It does seem to be in the suspension or at least it acts like it is. I'll check on those things you said.
