Dennis,
did you blow anything up or hit someone this time? The Mid-Altantic boys made it home without any red neck killings and no scooter incidents.
BTW...your future wife was waiting for you on scooter. She had her brand new overalls on. she even said she showered for you today. you know she does not shower on Saturdays.

I'm sure Dennis will chime in with "his" version of events, but let's just say things did not go as planned, especially considering most people got ONE LOUSY RUN 5 minutes before the track closed.
Having said that, I will note that MY one lousy run was the fastest of the SCs (14.2) so that should tell you something :)
PS: The reason Dennis was kept out of the 12s yet again?? The "Spiro Syndrome" - his intake tube fell off at the 60' mark :)

Spiro Syndrome? I guess that would make Dennis's bird a Thunderbird SC SS, eh? Does he have the Home Depot special on the intake tube as well? Amazing - those NY guys spend thousands on their SCs, but won't put a decent intake tube together. Hell, I remember pushing Dennis's car at Atco last year because he wouldn't spring for a new stater solenoid!
Sorry, I had to, too easy!

See, you should have been at ATCO. At least some of us got in 3 time trials, the blue SC's could not make the first run due to they forgot to get ICE. Russ, at least you ran better than any of us. My best was a 14.8 @89 mph. My 60' times were 2.0 with street tires. I think there is something wrong with my car. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/ohwell.gif ALT=":\">

Did you not see the intake i had on my SC at ATCO last year? Did that look like an HD Performance intake to you? I learned new things at the track yesterday.. DO NOT run ur car on 2 gallons of gas.. It will all shoot to the back of the tank upon launch and leave u stranded on the starting grid.. I uhhh had this problem which resulted in a 2.6 60' and along with my intake problem ran a 15.4@93 (i beat Kens MPH with no intake :) ) Anyhow i had fun yesterday even if we did get only one run in.. I even enjoyed everyone makin fun of me as i swapped a 94/95 blower for my SModel... I will be plannin ameet at ETOWN VERY soon like within the next 2 or 3 weeks.. You Maryland guys interested?
Dennis
PS- You wanna talk about power? My car squatted so hard that i broke the end links on both sides of my sway bar.. I noticed this yesterday as i was swappin the DR's for the street tires.. Now thats power!! ARGH ARGH ARGH!!
PPS- Congrats to Big Mike T for runnin a 14.3 yesterday.. This iz good for #19-22 spot..

Maryland??????? nobody who was at ATCO was from Maryland. It was mostly PA guys. Rick Hubbs was the only Jersey boy. Dennis, I beat your 60' time on street tires 2.0 vs your 2.6 now that is hooking up.:p
