Aug 26 meet of the SCCoGNY/SCCoM

After hearin several ideas.. Me and Mr. Prez of the SCCoM decided the Go-Kart idea would be the best idea to go with.. I have some members researching to find a nice go-kart track in Central NJ that we all can meet at and spend the day screwing around,shootin the kaka and such.. If anyone knows of any places in NJ thats got Go-karts email me and lemme know..

PS- I think we should join SCCoGNY and SCCoM into one big azz chapter.. For some reason whenever SCCoGNY calls a meet more SCCoM members show up than SCCOGNY..lol.. I dunno just a thought.. Anyone else agree?

Well, being I live in NY, it would be nice if the meets were in NY. I'm not driving 3 hours from where I live. How about meeting somewhere on Long Island? After all, it is part of NY.

Well being that some of our members are in NJ and that they also want to come i fgured NJ is a good place to have it... THe whole thing was that it was supposed to be a track day but since ETown is import only that day it turned into something different.. Thats why we lookin into the GoKart idea.. If u know of anyplace in NY that has em let me know (the fast ones not the ones in exit 62 and not the 140mph ones that cost $350 to race) Unless u guys are interested in goin to Mountain Creek for the day <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/embarassed.gif ALT=":o"> )

Just got thru looking over the options with Rick H and can't find any good sites for paintball central to all so that might have to be a Northern NJ/NYC/LI-GYN meet later in the year :)

For that matter, I couldn't find any kart tracks closer than 60 miles north of Manhattan... What's the dilly?

[edit] PS: both of you should really consider shrinking your pics down to 100x100 and re-posting them, that's why the ratio is all skewed. I did it with mine even though it looked good before, it did get better). As for the pic in the sig, I think HTML is disabled in this BBS.

But i wanted to include EVERYONE in NY,NJ and Maryland... But why not make two meets then, one at LID for those who can make it, and another for the Jersey/MD folks? Its not like you have a busy social calendar or anything :)

Ok i emailed ETown and asked them when the next available time to run time trials is.. i should get an answer from them back shortly.. As for now this is how it stands.. Aug 26th LID.. If anyone is interested in coming lemme know i will give u directiosn to get either there or to my house and we can all go together.. As for the NJ/Maryland crowd as soon as ETown gets back to me i will post up the next meet as soon as possible

I like the idea of having two meets one push pull or tow your SC meet at a parking lot where they dont need to run just look like they do(because we are talking about SC's and there known for spontaneously breaking down) and one at LID where we can run the nuts off(except for Russ) the cars that make the trip without breaking,sucking up rags,wheels falling off ect......
