Hey guys and gals, I am ever so proud to say that I am the President of such a fine club as ours. It may be small now, and in the future it may grow, and most of all, we showed the rest of them how it's done!!!!!! Thanks to Tammy, (Dave's wife, she's the pregnant one), we had a club tent and thanks to Dwayne for the banner, and the rest of us for beverages and chairs. We had by us the who's who of SC's!!!!!!! We also took a trophy in EVERY CLASS!!!!!!!!!!!! Not bad for a first show club!!!!!!! We plan on being bigger and better next year.

The following were winners:

Pat with 1989 SC white 5-speed

Jay's Girl with 1990 Anniversary

Dave (honorary member NY guy) 93 SC auto

Bryan with 94 SC 5-speed

There were 12 trophy's given out in the SC classes and we had one in each!!!!!!!!

I would also like to thanks Dean Shirley for his hospitality for the BBQ we enjoyed on Saturday.

Probably most of all, Profound thanks to Dr. Fred for helping Bryan and myself tune our cars. He spent his vacation time helping to tune our vehicles. I have not really ever seen a nicer guy and thanks to his wife for not getting mad for us stealing him away part of the day.

Everyone's cars looked great and next year we will be ready again to take the show field with pride and GREAT looking cars.

Anyway, photo's will be up shortly for view.

Thanks again everyone for making this my MOST memorable show EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cool!

That's great! I was there Friday fairly early. There were only maybe a dozen SC's when I was there. And I think the owners all wondered off to look at other cars!lol. I wish I could have stayed longer but I could tell my pop was getting tired(even I was! It was friggin hot!). I look forward to next year. Hopefully then I will get all the blemishes out of my car so I can show it.

Side note: Do not drive through Philly during rush hour!! Thank god I didn't take my car because my clutch and my left left leg would have been jello by the time we got back to Jersey! I don't know how some of you folks can stand living in the city.

But it was still great fun. And I can't wait for the next!

Re: Cool!

Carlisle was awesome! It was great to meet for the first time many of the folks who are regulars on these boards , as well as the "big guys" like George D., Duffy F., Dr. Fred, etc...

Even Wanda had a fun time hanging out, showing off my car to anyone who ventured near, and spending more buying for her 98 Escort than I did for my SC! (New GT wheels at a steal).

Dean's party was a blast, looking forward to next year's. By then perhaps I'll be a contender for a trophy after new paint next spring, and maybe some engine work...

Thanks Don for being our fearless leader, thanks Bob for lending cash on the spot for Wanda's wheels before the wheel guy drove away, thanks Heber taking said wheels home for us, and everyone else for making the trip an excellent one! :D
