? on extending injector harness

Since I have the SC motor in my mustang I am using the Mustang wiring harness. It fits but barely reaches around the blower to the drivers side injectors. I was thinking of extending that entire side of the harness about 3-4 inches but I think it woudl just be easier to extend the injector plugs 3-4 inches each since its only 2 wires on each injector plug instead of the 15+ wires on the harness. My question is: Will extending the wires on the injectors have any ill effects on the operation of them? Cause the drivers side injector wires will be longer then the passenger side now. I doubt there will be a problem but thought I woudl get some expert experience before I go and cut and solder them. I am just not sure if it would have any effect on the injector pulse due to being slightly longer then what the factory had it at.

Thanks!

It won't matter if you change the wire length. Just be sure to use good soldering technique and use heat shrink tubing to cover up the junctions.
