manually adjusting arc shocks

Is it possible to manually adjust the setting for the stock SC shocks by turning the pins with a tool? This sounds logical, as it seams thats all the ARC really does with them. & since the pins seem to have a fair range of travel, does this mean the firmness of the shocks can actually be varied?

Just out of curiousity..

I asked that and was told it's just two settings. A quarter turn changes it from one setting to the other.
