Well, I'll be heading down to Fountain Valley area this weekend to get my windows tinted. Have a friend down there who recomended a place for my truck that would do the side windows. So now I'm taking the T-bird in $145 repeat customer price for all side and back windows as dark as I want, and $85 more if I want windshield tinted. Anyways, was wondering there was anything going on Saturday?? Sunday will probably head down to San Diego for a while to look for a place to live for when I move down in Sept.

Paid ~120, limo in the rear, 15% in the fronts (shhhh ;)) Here in LA. The good stuff too, might wanna shop around some more. the rear is a single piece.

Alex, may I say that is one of, if not the cleanest 35th I've seen. Nice

Thanks Aaron, but I'm just good with PhotoShop :) The car's paint has been failing miserably lately. At the time I took those pictures, I was still fighting to keep the paint decent and it looked okay. Now, I concentrate on polishing up stuff in the engine bay and hope to get the Cervinis ram air and wing and get a paint job next summer.

Well it looks ten times better than mine. Twilight Blue paint that has a white streak over the hood and top of car(oxidation). One thing you can try that I have done is using a regular brush on enamel semi flat black paint for the trim. It seems to stick better than anything else I have used and you don't have to tape it off if you use a foam brush.

No offense, but from some of the other posts I've seen reguarding tinting the windows on these things, $145 sounds good to me, and since I know the quality of this guys work(he did my truck) and that he guarantee's his stuff, I will be using him again.

None taken bro, just giving you a heads up. BTW I also have lifetime warranty against bubbling, peeling, and purpling etc. I'd rather pay the extra 20 to go with someone I know did a good job than pay 20 less to go to someone I hope will do a good job.

Aaron, I was actually going to try to remove them and spray paint them with ~5 coats of flat black. I might do one the way you explained and if I like it, I'll do the rest. Thanks for the tip.

I have the business card in the car. I know its right in front of the Stonewood Mall on Firestone a mile or so west of the 605. I'll post a name and number later.

In Downey--I use to live there, so I know right where you are talking about. Past the dealerships but before the High School?

Ezzactly! They take about an hour to do it, so you can shop the mall while its being done.

Note to self, look in wallet before assuming stuff is in the car.

Mandi,

The number is 562 622 0109 addy is 9112 E. Firestone in Downey. Right between Lakewood and Woodruff. You can haggle with him on price and prolly get the strip in the front for free.

I would guess a majority of us with 100's of posts have the same kind of deal. I am a stock broker/financial advisor and spend my day in front of a computer screen so I read the boards a lot.

We underpaid and overworked (or is that underworked and overpaid?) teachers get a 3 minute break every 47 minutes, a 15 minute morning break and a 40 minute lunch...and some even get a prep period! That along with a T1 can get quite a few internet tasks completed throughout a day---Your mighty tax dollars at work!

Yup, I get two 15 minute breaks, (one before and one after lunch) 30 minute minimum lunch, and am a student here so free time can be spent freely :) As long as there is physically work output, they dont trip if I'm a post whore. The T1 line here at work is SATURATED so that means everyone else is doing the same thing. Gotta love government workers.

You got a reply. I forgot to mention that the SC is by the rest of the T birds (duh) as soon as you go into the lot its on the right hand side all the way to the edge. It has a LX rear bumper (Lee missed it) but the bumper is on top of the roof. Blue in color.
