Well, of course, I snapped the stupid bit off flush with the bolt stem, so now what? The hardened EZout bit just mockingly laughed at me when I tried to drill it with a titanium drill bit.
Everything is flush, so I can't grab anything or chisel it. Do I need to buy diamond tipped drill bits? :(

Oh boy were not talking about the harmonic balancer bolt are we?
I bought a car with this problem and wound up replaceing the crank. Could not drill out the easy out. The guy tried to weld something to it also before I got it. I just hope your talking about a seat bolt or something.

The Steel that EZ-OUTs are made of are extremely hard yet, as you found, they are brittle. You are not going to be able to drill them out with just any old drill bit.

You'll need to find a carbide tipped or carbide drill bit. Carbide bits are strong enough to cut into the ez-out. It's best to get one mounted in a dremel spinning at high speed and cut into and around the ez-out.

It may take some time.
