The meeting was originally scheduled for 3/16, Saturday at E-Town for the Buick vs Ford run! :rollin:

However, we know that a lot of your guys might not make it due to XYZ reasons...and also some of you may not be able kick in the $25 or so dollars for racer's admission, plus gas/toll and expenses...

SOOO....which would you guys prefer as the meeting date Friday evening the 15th or Sunday the 17th. Post your opinions on here!!

I and my brother are going though regardless!

what to do

i would like to attend the meeting but what do i have to do to become a member of the nj chapter?thanks for your help.

Re: what to do

just show up to meetings. that's it :) there's no dues or anything for the NJTaCC. but if you have any connections with people that could help out with the cars, please share with everyone :)

I think the 17th will be better since we could still meet when its light out and Friday would be a lete meet since every one works thats just me

I might be going to E-town if i get my new suspention in on time

E-town

Sounds good. If I can get my egr problems fixed, I will probably be there. I can't race, though. MY 1-2 syncro is shot. My car will not shift into second under power. I'd spend two seconds trying to get it into second! That would kill my et.lol!

What is the standard admission for non-racers?

E-town

If I can go, it will be on the 16th so I can watch the Ford vs Buick. I think that will kick ass! There will probably be some SC'ers we can recruit, too!

How far is everyone from Englishtown?

Re: E-town

25 mins.. lol.. everyone i've met so far is from up north and it's an hour drive for them.. i'll probably be there the 16th and might race.. i'd loose nice a quickly tho cuz i doubt there's a 17 second grand national there :)

Hopefully I'll see you there. I'm definitely going to try to be there.

Anyone else going on the 16th?

Re: SUNDAY March 17th!!

The feedback I've gotten back says this is the day to do anything we need to do!!

NOW the question is WHAT TIME...Morning, Noon, Afternoon?

NEXT MEETING 3/16 & 17!! Eat & Tech! :D

The day after racing meet!!! If all are interested in a nice little cruise to start the meeting off on Sunday the 17th, Bob mentioned a GREAT place out Rte 80 near Dover called the Barn.

Their offer is a 10am-12noon brunch buffet for $13.99 per person. Full breakfast; muffins, fresh fruit, danish, soups, beef, chicken, seafood, pasta champange, omelette station, waffles, cold cuts carving station, juice, coffee shrimp etc. :p

Full sports bar-TV environment adjoins the eating area!! :)

Huge parking lot and an overlook onto a gorgeous pond. It's really nice! :rollin:

Bob's own gas station is about a mile away and he offered to use his two indoor svc bays for our FIRST TECH session!!! He offered his Mac EEC handheld and my brother will bring his Ford shop's NGS hand held.!!And as it's his place, don't worry about parking.

Afterwards we can gas up and hit the highway back home!!

I strongly encourage everyone to make the early morning wake up so we can do this. From Englewood it's good 35-40 min drive
west! Let me know!

directions

92Rolling,
Here are directions to the barn, I live in the same town so it will get you there.
Take 80 west (for about 45min from gwb)
Get off at rt 46 east go about 5/6 miles up the you large intersection, the second traffic light, stay on the road, it turns into rt 10
another 5 miles up this road you will pass a texico on the right, which may become our tunning garage, continue up the road and you will pass a closed shell station and a mini golf coarse, on the right, take that u-turn and pass under the bridge, the barn is on your right.

Oh yea and Jesse,
i know the owner of that gas station, Jerry. I just hope i can get my car on the road.

Hope this helps.
Jim

I'm back!!!!!! Sorry for the lack of presence here. I really think that the Idea of the Sunday at the Barn is GREAT!!! Tech session, and pics by the pond sound too good to be true. All interested, please contact me or Jesse. Numbers are in previous posts.

I just want everyone to know that this makes me SOOOOOOOOOOOOO happy to see so many involved!!!
