89 hub w/ABS not fitting, 97 spindle non ABS

When i put the 89 hub on the 97 spindle, the rotor (97) touches the caliper braket. Are the hubs/spindles not interchangeable?

With the 89 - 90 style hub, you can only use the 89 - 90 rotor, becuase the hub hole diameter is different on the later rotors.

Mix ABS with non ABS?

What would happen if I used 97 ABS on one side and 97 non-ABS on the other? Someone sold me non-matching assemblies (spindle, rotor, end links, calipers, the whole bit) that seem to be identicle accept that one is ABS and the other is not. He said they came off a car (implying the same car, but that can't be, can it?). Let me know if ABS/ non ABS combo will have any side effects even if temporary.

Your ABS won't function properly, but other than that, should be no ill side effects.
