New AOD Fill Procedure

Hey guys, Im getting a new AOD in a few days and im wondering if there is a proper first fill procedure. Its a brand new tranny and id like to brake it in properly. Im getting the Art Carr extreme AOD and im not sure if its going to come with any instructions at all. Im guessing that I should fill the torqe converter a bit and fill it up with about 7 quarts before starting. I heard it may take about 13 quarts total but am clueless. Anybody know for sure how much ATF? My local auto part salesman said I should put 7 quarts in, leave the car in ther air, start it, put in gear, and let idle with no load on the tranny. Check fluid and keep adding as needed. Should I follow that? Also is there a brake in procedure, like a fresh motor? Thanks for all the help guys.

Call Art Carr. I would'nt think there would be a better expert on it than them.....after all they built it.
