Re-roofing

I have a '90 SC that a tree fell on and the only real damage is the roof skin may need replaced. My question is, I also have a '91 SC that mechanically is out of order. Can The moonroof car top be swapped onto the standard roof car?

Sure! But changing roofs is a very labor intensive job.

I sorta figured it wouldn't be easy. My '90 only has 57K miles on it and until the tree got mad at it was pretty much a flawless car. I've only got a grand in the '91 and it's all there, just engine problems and small things wrong with it all over. Now, if mine looked as bad as the picture in tbird88's post, I would pretty much "scrap" the idea!

Is your damage contained within the center section of the roof?

No, the damage is in the passenger rear corner but did not damage the shape or structure of the window opening. It's only about a foot and a half square area that's damaged. I have digital pictures that I will attach later tonight.
