How to check for bad/clogged injectors

Fuel injection drop tester. Or send them to a shop.

Every once in awhile there is some for sale on Ebay motors diagnostic tools. OTC makes one so do a few other tool companies. You hook a fuel injection pressure gauge tester to you schrader valve. Then hook drop tester to neg and pos of battery. then connect it to injector then turn key to on position and push a button on drop tester then look at gauge for pressure drop off . If pressure does not drop then you have a cloged injector. All injectors should drop the same amount if not then you may have a partial clog or different size injectors.

Do a cylinder balance test, if your code reader supports it.

OR

Sent them out to get flow tested and balanced.

The stock comp on the car will perform a cylinder ballance test where it will test each injector for flow then tell you which injector or injectors is not up to snuff.
The best part about this is its FREE!!!!!!and you dont need a code scanner either.
So go to www.fordfuelinjection.com and learn about all the wonderfull things your stock factory comp will do for you for FREE!:)
