I've read more posts about a cough on acceleration, and
nobody has been able to cure it permanently.
Plugs seem to work temporarily. (yes autolite dp's).
I've also changed wires...coil pack...o2's dis mod...motor
mounts. Anybody checked this? Put a timing light on motor,
watch blinking end of timing light, rev motor, watch light
stop blinking? (I've verified this on a second timing light).
It's definately a weak spark that's causing my cough at higher
revs. Anybody cure anything like that?
All grounds and voltages seem fine...although I don't have an oscilloscope to check waves.

Compression test? Harmonic balancer wobble? How's the fuel pressure on WOT? Which cylinder is weak? Check for codes, lately?

It's a spark problem....proven by the timing light.
(no codes....never have been)

I hate to have to admit this, but I had a similar problem from a loose plug wire, you check yours to see if they're on tight?
