i have a 93 SC with jbl audio in it. im not really impressed, am i supossed to be? the sub sucks. is there any thing i can do to make it bump better or should i go for two 10s and an amp? this will take up a bunch of trunk space, add weight (dont want that :)) and i dont know if i can fit it under that tray that has the jbl sub in it. and it makes my fold down seats usless.

What I did was just hooked a single 10" sub in a truck box. I hooked it up to the stock amp. I am quite impressed with the sound, and it still leaves you plenty of room.

you can modify the factory sub box to get an 8" sub in there. i replaced the sub with a rockford fosgate 6.5" same size as factory. and i added a 8" amplified bazooka tube. bass is pretty tight but the jbl 5x7's gotta go. the bazookas aren't as heavy as a regular enclosure and they can be removed easily. i have a pioneer head unit also so that helps improve the sound.
