Well I am seeing what the blue powder looks like now, AS you know my motor is painted blue and silver, well over the winter it will be powdercoated blue and silver. Here is a test piece of pipe I did in blue along with a test piece of pipe painted in the same blue my motor is painted. Pretty close but the powdercoated pipe is a bit lighter in color, closer match to the car if you ask me, but its too dark out to get a good comparison, will get a better idea tomorrow.

My tensioners are currently silver with a black pulley, I am gonna get aluminum pullies for them so I am gonna coat the tensioners blue now to offset the colors better. I already did one tensioner, its just cooling now, looks good so far, will get pics up soon. I had to take the tensioner apart cause there are plastic pieces inside the tensioner, but its better to caot it when apart, it gets in all the cracks this way.

Here are the pics of the test pipes I did. First two pics are at different angles to see if the flash from teh camera changes the way they look on the screen, powdercoated piece is on the right in both pics.

OK the tensioner is finally cooled down and I just slid the parts together to see what it woudl look like, here is a comparison shot of the new powdercoated one to the old painted one. The center washer that holds the whole thing together is steel so I can't polish it, but I think I will coat it in the almost chrome so it kinda matches teh aluminum pullies I wnt to get. If I don't end up liking the match between the chrome washer and teh aluminum pulleys then I will just coat that washer blue to match the rest of the tensioner. The tensioner turned out AWESOME!!!! I cleaned the tensioner really well before coating it though, I ground off all the existing paint and the original powdercoat, stripped it down to bear metal, surprisingly it came of rather easy, took about 1/2 hour to get it all cleaned up.
