My car popped two codes today.
1. 111- Pass (O,C,R stored)
2. 214- Distributorless Ignition System Cylinder Identification
Circuit Failure. (C stored)

Does anyone know what these codes mean? I'm very computer illiterate...including car computers.

Please help...

111 means the system passed testing.
214 means that at sometime during running of the engine the comp lost signal from the cam sensor.
Are you having problems?
If so what might they be?:)

Actually, no. I just had it in the shop for codes and a selenoid problem, the cam sensor was cleaned and regreased, the plugs were changed, and as of right this minute, it is running well. I also had a code popping last week for the O2 sensor, but after the selenoid was replaced, it didn't happen again. My mechanic said it was probably fouled from the selenoid problem and had burned off.
