Meeting Idea

I have belonged to a lot of local car clubs and a national Camaro club. We would meet like once a month to B.S. and just talk about car talk, or about attending local cruise-ins. We would meet at a steak house or a low level eating place like pizza joint. (If we call around we could find somewhere that has a meeting area)

I think this would maybe a good idea so everyone can get to know everyone. Because our club area is so big, we could meet like on the first Wed/Sat/???. night somewhere. One week we could meet somewhere in Cincinnati, next month Columbus, than Indianapols and so on.

But we would have to see where the best place to hold a meeting would be. If the largest number of members are in southern Ohio and no members in Indy, than a hour trip to Indy would not be a good idea.

Do you think this would be a good idea or is everybody just to busy?

About a year ago, Bill Evanoff sponsored a minimeet at his house, and it was quite a bit of fun.

If there was enough interest, you could get a pavillion at Sharon Woods (cincy, sharonville to be specific) or something, and grill burgers and dogs. Next month, Do the same thing in the next city.

Maybe if some folks had some parts they wanted installed, that wasn't too difficult (like ZR intakes and stuff), everyone could help out. Sort of a mass-modding party. . .
