I talked to Marc in KC tonight and it sounds like it's going to be a TON of fun in April. It looks like it could be a reasonably priced time too. Two night at about 50.00 per night, racing is about 15.00 - 20.00 per car plus gas and meals. Marc says the room rate is not based on double ocupancy so we could split the cost of the rooms too!!!!

How many of you are thinking about going? If you are still undesided that's OK. Just say so. If you are positive that you are going, say that too. If you are definately NOT going drop me and email ...... If you post it here, someone is bound to give you some crap about it .........

I just want to get some Idea of who and where you are so we can put a caravan together. We also need to get rooms nailed down.

We will be talking about this and other upcoming events at the meeting next weekend too .....

I'm going to try my hardest to be there. Money won't be a problem- It'll be my parents. They were pretty sure that I could go. It's just a matter of what happens in the next month for me, but I'm trying my hardest to be there.

If there's anything new, let me know next weekend Mike. I'll be there, as long as we don't get another freezing rain/sleet shower like last night. Gotta love Midwest weather.

I hear ya.. Come on Summer. Tired of cold temps, bad wind chills, and SNOW.

I plan to wash my 'Bird tomorrow, just to get all the sand/salt off. Hope the weather is nice for the meet. Or atleast good enough to drive over.

Hmmmm, well, methinks there now exists the possibility that I might be making that trip, too.

More to follow....

Dale & anyone else ......... Let me know if you're going, I'd much rather run with someone or in a small group. Just in case we have a problem.

If you are going or think you MIGHT go, post it here and send me an email. I just want to know who to stay in touch with. I'm planning on going. The only reason I would change my plans is if something in the family were to happen. (Sickness or something).

Besides, I hate running alone, it so ....................... lonely ............. ya that's it, lonely!

Well, if I'm actually able to go, it would probably be way way early Saturday morning that I'd leave. I THINK!

Thats a lot of hauling to get there by 9am.

Actually, I was hoping to get out of CR by noon on Friday!!!!! That way we'd be there for supper and have some time to relax a bit, get a good nights sleep (Ya, Right), and be fresh for the drags on Saturday morning.

Just mapped out the hotel and track, and I would like everyone to know~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~MA KE YOUR RESERVATIONS NOW~~~
The hotel has a beautiful atrium, indoor pool, 15 PERSON HOT TUB, sauna, air hockey, ping pong, mini golf, full breakfast, refridgerator in every room (for your beer).....All FREE. Also a cabana bar that opens at 5. Should be a good time no matter what we do.
In other words, this hotel fills up every weekend and can only hold rooms for so long. First come first serve. Lots of things for the woman to do also...my wife will coordinate the shopping on Saturday. Any restaurant you can imagine is within a mile. The race track (KCIR) is 5 miles away on the same road. Call me if you need any help making arrangements.
