Hey- nice pic by the way.

Update on my 'Bird: I stopped into the body shop today to check on it and the hood is almost done. All that's left is to paint it. It's all fitted and everything.

All that is left is my peeling clear coat in the back, a few rust spots on the driver door, and repaint part of the front bumper. Then I'll have it back. He said I should have it back by the end of the week.

Have a good time at this meet and I plan to be at the next one (again weather permitting, vehicle permitting, parents permitting.. hehe)

It sounds like you need to find a faster body shop. I'm slow, but I could have had it done two weeks ago (hee hee).

Wish I could make it. Unfortunately, I won't be able to. And you only get one guess why. OK I'll give you a hint, I'm at almost 90k. That's right HG's. Boy I'm picking up on this car pretty quickly. And now I realize what you guys were talking about when you said at the Nov. meeting "so how many miles were you at when they went?" And I just got this new Fel-pro gasket set for everything you need to replace down to the HG's. Must be a pretty common thing if they make a special set of gaskets just for this. And I'll be ordering some solid motor mounts from Jason Marsh($75) and maybe get a mild port job with some milling for the heads. Though I might also try some of those 32PP spark plugs and new motorcraft plug wires.

And how about this weather? I thought the weather was so great at the Nov. meeting and we are about to have the same in the middle of Jan. What a contrast from last year. Anyway all you have fun Sat. and hope things go smoothly for you all. Hopefully I'll be at the next one, ready to race front wheel drive, 80's wannabee Mazdas and tubbed out Dodge Chargers(yeah right).

Sorry to hear that you're having HG problems. We'd sure like to have you here. Can you find a car to drive up for the meeting. Some of the guys have thier cars stored so it's OK if you don't drive the SC!!!!

I just got mine back out for today's meeting ........ I almost forgot just how much fun It was. (hee hee)! I drove by the bank just a few minutes ago and the bank sign said 53 degrees.

I'm taking my Camera to the meeting and Dale said he was bringing his new one too. I'm sure we'll have some of the pictures on the site tonight. Drop by and check them out.

I'll also post a meeting recap on the site either tonight or in the morning. I'll post it here too .......

Sorry you couldn't come up for this one .... I think everyone is getting a little cabin fever around here, so it may be a bigger turn out they we expect.
