Dumb cam question?

I understand lift and duration. The centerline thing has me confused. The cam I am running now has a center line of 115 degrees on the intake and exhaust. On the stock cam for 1990 it shows ilc 108 for intake and 110 lda for exhaust. Can some one explain. Is centerline the same as ilc and lda. Just trying to learn a little more about the cam vodoo. Pretty confusing to me. Thanks Tim
