After reading all of the questionaires over it appears the biggest area we need to improve on is the track facilities. I knew this going out to MAR that the lack of timeboards would be a problem.

So for next years event a time board will be a track requirement.

It also appears that the majority of the people voiced having the racing earlier and in a private setting. Meaning that we have the track all to ourselves. I had originally considered this we we first began to plan this event. Howver, the costs involved would have made the entry fees nearly $100 per car just for the track alone. I then dont think we would have achieved the 30 plus car we would have needed to break even.

We will try to keep it in mind for next year to completely have the track to ourselves cost being the determining factor.

Other than that everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and have a good time. I hope that with the future events we can keep the participation level up and have even more. I think that it is going to be very hard to top this years event, but I have a few ideas of my own to get us over and above.

Thanks everyone for attending and I am looking forward to seeing you next year.

Sorry but this is going to make me look like an ***.

I hate all this shootout sticky post lets start a 'NEW' forum on shootout. Because I don't care about it.

Plus I think they should be a limit on sticky post

Another point I have read about in the questionaires is everyone seems to want to have the track to ourselves. I could not agree more that to rent the track for a day would be more than helpful and easier. However, the costs involved with renting the track would have made the registration costs about $100 more than they already were. So I have decided to put up a poll to see what everyone thinks is an acceptable registration cost. You are to assume we will have a banquet as we did this year, awards being very similar etc. I am just curious as to how much everyone would be willing to spend to get a track with TIME BOARDS and for our exclusive use.
