SCCoSE Gents,

Looks like is going to be a busy summer of SC events. For starters next month is the FFW at Montgomery and I plan on going. Not sure which weekend, but I am going.

Then come the big ones: Carlisle is 1-3 June with an immaculate 35th Annivesary SC being given away on 3 June. I plan on leaving here for that one on 30 May with the XB 70. Happens that my folks live just 40 miles away from carlisle.

Now for the big cajuna: 31 Aug-2 September at Oklahoma City, OK. Track time, burnounts at the hotel parking lot and the works as the SCCoA, with much leadership from SCCoSW, kick off the first ever MN12 Nationals. I will be leading the convoy going there on 30 Aug early in the morning.

Hope you all can make Montgomery and we can further discuss the major events.

I'll probably make it for test and tune, and may be able to make it for saturday as well. I shouldn't have to work that weekend. I'll be able to get in a little fun before summer classes start. Just finished one hellacious hell week at school, and have one final next week, then two the following week.

Maybe we can all get together down there friday evening, shack up in a super 8 for the night, and attend events saturday!

Meeting in Opelika sounds good. I'll be coming down US 27 from Carrollton thru LaGrange and hit 85 SB there. I'd say meet up in Okelika no later than 3:00, central time. Maybe about 2:30 if we want to maybe grab lunch at that exit. It'll take about an hour to get from Okelika to the track in MGM, and if the crowd is anything close to what Atlanta was like, we'll want to get there a little early, before gates open.

I was planning on taking a half a day off and staying overnight Fri and Sat. Wife and youngun' might come. I'm 2 hours from Opelika exit, so rendezvous time is good. BTW I ran a best ever 14.087 and then a 14.155 against Dan at Fri T&T. Also did a 14.130 on Sat. Double intercooler and pulley set knocked .3 secs off of my times.

Where do we want to meet in Opelika? Is 3pm central definite? I am also bringing my 2 year old son. Probably won't race but we'll watch!

I checked motels in the Montgomery. No Super 8's but the Fairfield Inn, Knights Inn, and Days Inn are all close and $50 per night or less.
