removing valve covers

im going to be removing my valve covers to replace the gaskets and i was wondering if there was anything else i could or should replace while ive got everything off. im on a budget so i cant put any performance parts on right now, but what could be done as maintenance.

As long as you have all the stuff off to pull the valve covers it would be a good time to do your plugs. It will be a lot easier to get at the !@#$ things!
