Noticed that my '91 was leaking a little brake fluid, and finally pin pointed the leak to the pressure switch for the ARC (screws into a junction block of some sort below the master cyl. Looks kinda like a proportioning valve, but with only on line in and one out.) Leaking from the end where the conector plugs into it. Damn!!! Gonna have to call ford and get one coming. Then gonna have to put the damn thing on and bleed the friggin' brake system (although, I think this is in the line going to the front brakes, so I should only have to bleed the front). But on a positive note, I am glad I found it now while it is a minor leak instead of later when it could have got worse and caused me to lose my brakes!!

I think I need some Preperation H!!!! Ford bent me over and did you know what to me on this one. Cost me $70 for this little pressure switch!!! And that was "wholesale" (With the discount they give to our company) List was $85!! Oh well. I guess it's better than not having any friggin' brakes!!!

Dan, I had to replace mine, too. You don't have to bleed the brakes though. It's easy to replace if you can get to it. I paid $62 for mine 2 years ago.

When I took the old switch out and immediately put the new one in, I figured that no air got into the system, but I went ahead and bled at both rear calipers, just to be safe. Got some of the old fluid out of the system anyway. Now I just have to replace the leaky valve cover gaskets, but that's another project for another day!!!
