Spout circuit grounded. Replaced cam & crank sensor on a Buddy of mines '92 SC. Ran great for 3 minutes until he punched it leaving the house. Now it idles like crap. Checked cam & crank sensor everything OK. But fire out of the coil pack is erratic.

Did you remove the plug wires? If so, are you certain they were replaced in the correct order? Otherwise perhaps a problem with the DIS? Try removing it & checking for heatsink compound underneath. If there is none, apply a new layer, real thin.

Will ck. DIS module

Scoped cam & crank sensor signal, everything OK there. Next to DIS & Coil pack
Oh! bye the way, why would I even mess with the plug wires if i were changing either sensor. The plug wires are new anyway.

You said idles like crap. How does it run at part throttle, WOT?

Idle only problem isn't always ignition related. If you have a scope you should be able to rule out the Cam, Crank, and Coil pack pretty easily.

Double check all the plug wires to make sure one hasn't come loose and isn't causing your odd idle. It's happened to other before... even if you haven't touched them on purpose.
