Are there any differences in the M5R2 transmission used in the SC and the M5R2 used in the F-150's. Direct swap compatibility?
 
Many differences. (Gear ratios, shifter placement, blocker rings, syncronizer assemblies etc). No way is this a bolt in possibility that I would consider.

Personally no but folks are always parting cars out. Try the Classifed Forum. I assume you don't want your car out of action while a rebuild is underway? Southern Gear has been used by some folks with success for a rebuild.
