ok ...since i have a bad IAC valve thing-a-majig.... i could of sworn i read that if u disconnect it the car shoudl idle normal? or what??
anybody wanna help me out here?

Actually, if you disconnect it and its bad, there will be no change in the idle. The typical way they fail is the idle races to 2000+ rpm due to a rupture in the bellows inside. If you disconnect it, it does nothing to change the air flow, hence the idle doesn't change.
If your IAC is working properly, if you disconnect it while the engine is idling, it will stumble and stall.
