Well it seems nobody has posted anything about what they thought
about the Atlanta meet so I guess its up to me. Sooooo anyway
it rocked!!!!! All who attended had a great time and we all got
to meet each other, many cases for the first time, and in a few
instances put a face to names I keep seeing on this BBS all the
time. Major Glenn had to leave early but he stayed long enough
to meet and greet and get a few passes down the track. Like before
i played camera guy and hopefully got some good footage (Mike
any comments?). Anyways we had most everybody who said they were
going to be there actually show up, which is kind of a first.
The only person whos whereabouts werent known was Mike Donley.
Anybody know what happened to him? I was looking forward to seeing
him there but he never showed. Oh well thers always next time.
I think Mike Puckett is planning a full blown write up of the
meet for the December CT so be looking for it!!!!

Sorry I couldn't come, but I had something come up at the last minute. I sent an e-mail to Mike Puckett. I hope to be at the next one, whenever that is.

Jason,

Thanks for the post. Did you get any good video out of it?? Have been swamped for days at work and did not take the lead to post about the meet.
Had a great time meeting everyone and shooting the breeze about our SCs. Wish the track operations would have been speedier but I was happy to get two runs in there. 14.87 ET @ 94.94 MPH is nothing to brag about, but out of a 2.73 geared 5 Speed with stock blower and pulley, its good enough for me. Will return in the Spring and run with 3.27s gears and other mods.

We need to link up again as I've had calls from TCCoA guys wanting meet with us too. Perhaps in December or January.

Don't forget about the National Meet in OKC on 27-29 April.

Glenn

I dont know how the videos turned out as that was Mike Puckett's camera. I'm sure he has looked at the vidoes by now so you'll have to ask him how they turned out. Another thing is that Steve Griffith is SUPPOSED to get back in January so I know he would be up for a meet. If he does come, Glenn, pepare to meet the quickest SC known to mankind!
