View Full Version : CD Changer wire routing?

I am trying to install a 12 disk changer in the trunk. I know the wires come back from the reciever to the amp.

I don't know the best way to route the wires. Has anyone already done this? Can you give me some tips to make this job easier?

The more specific you can be, the better.

Ok. No one replied quick enough, so I spent about 12 hours figuring this one out. I'll share with anyone interested.

Pull the plastic and metal panels off where your knees hit when driving. You can fish a wire down through the stereo area down to just behind the cigarette lighter. Run it under the carpet and behind the dead pedal. Pull off the side panel next to the dead panel and the horizontal plastic strip that covers the driver's seatbelt roller. Fish the wire through this back to the left back seat panel. Remove left back seat armrest panel (big panel). Run the wire under the rear seatbelt roller and through an oval opening into the trunk. Pull the wire into the trunk and get it where you need it.

Doesn't seem like this should have taken 12 hours now that I write it down.
