Just a reminder, we have an SCCoSE meet planned for Nov 11 at atlanta dragway in commerce. Not sure on the exact time and details and all, but we will probably meet in the late morning and drive to the track. We're hoping for a big turnout. If you can, come on up and race, or just watch and have fun!!!! Check out the SCCoSE Events page at sccose.tripod.com/events.html (http://sccose.tripod.com/events.html)

I will be there if I have to push my SC to the track.

Let's meet again at the Suwanee exit #111 at the Burger King from 10:30 to 11:30 am or so. Turn right at the top of the ramp and then turn left into the Holiday Inn parking lot to get to the Burger King. I'll be in El Salvador on business all of next week and I get back Fri night 10:00ish. So if I don't show It's because my flight back was delayed but I shouldn't have a problem. The track opens at 12:30 and qualifiers start at 2:00 pm, eliminations at 4:00 and lasts till about 7 or 8:00. They let people buy back after both the 1st and 2nd round because there was a sparse turnout at the last one. There probably won't be a big crowd this time either. It's the last weekend of the season so if you miss it, you'll have to wait until March when the track reopens. Let's have a big turnout of SC'ers this time. The last 2 times there were just 2 of us each time.

I just received an email from Atlanta Dragway and there is a revised start time for Nov 11th. Gates open at 8 am and time trials begin at 9:30. That means I'll be at the Suwanee Burger King by 7 am or so. We should leave there around 7:15 to 7:30. That may mean an early start or a stay overnight Fri. for some people.
No one's messing with me this time. I will be there for sure.
Will leave Columbus GA at 5:00 AM. Found another two SCs on Fort Benning. I'll see if I can talk those folks on to coming there too.
Have lots of info on the National SC meet in OKC next year and can share ideas about it will all that show up.

Whassup Glenn? Get the injectors into the XB70, yet? You guys have fun at the track. Ours is closed for the year (too bad - all this cold air makes my SC faster!)

Yeh, and all that ice and snow makes it go round and round in circles, too. You need a big empty parking lot and you can see how many G's you can generate cutting donuts. Has it snowed in Denver yet? The year I was there it snowed on Oct 15.

But I guess I'll be in my Accord again. Dang that sucks!!! Oh well I'll be happy to do videos again from the stands. Are we going to have any other people racing besides Mike and Rick? Glenn? Ron? Dan? Mike D.? anyone else??

Assuming nothing bad happens to the SC over next week (knock on wood) I'll be taking another stab at the ol' quarter mile and try to beat my previous 15.6 (did that on my first run ever, the next two got worse thanks to a lot of tire spin) I had damned well better see an improvement after dropping a grand on my headers and exhaust last month!!
SCCoSErs,
We still meeting there at 7 AM? That's exit #111 on I-85 correct? Burket King parking lot. I'll be leaving Columbus GA around 5 AM to be there on time. Looking forward to it rain or shine.
