You don't need to rebuild the snout just because it is leaking. Only if run dry, or if you are hearing noise from it.


Chicago rawhide makes the seal, #7966 for the stock replacement or #7968 for a better than stock seal. (the better one is about 4 times the cost of the stock replacement depending on the source)

Tbird88 might be able to source you the seal.

My 7966 seals weep a little fluid and don't seal completely. Try the 7968 seal. It's nytrile and stainless springs instead of neoprene and steel springs.
