Last I heard from Steve Griffith he was getting his car ready to make one last attempt for the #1 spot before he gets shipped out on a submarine. He plans on running it this Friday (Oct 27th). For those of you who dont know he has already broken the record once yet was not counted because an ex-g/f trashed the ticket. Anyways his last attempt yeilded a 13-flat with him backing out of the throttle. This car has #1 written all over it. Everyone wish Steve luck this weekend!
