hard pedal 90sc

I am told by mech. I need to replace the hyd power unit $1400.00 for part. It also codes left front wheel sensor. Problem is intermittant. Lights come pedal goes hard. Replaced accumulator worked for a week, then back to same ol thing. Any past experiences?

they sell a new thunderbird at the ford lots ...... if this doesnt help go buy a chev. or a dodge see simple fix.

If you are refering to the brakes, check your relays for the ABS, We found bad relays in ours when that happened. MUCH cheaper than replacing the whole ABS unit. As we did that with a parts car one, and it didn't fix the problem. Check relays first.
