To All wondering about the Club... ,
The SCCOA is a great place to get technical information and general knowledge. ALSO, it's a GREAT place to meet new people. Before owning an Super Coupe, I was kinda afraid of the complicated issues revolving around this car. After getting my first one in 1999, I was surfing the web for info on my Grand Prix GT (OK, it's a Pontiac....), I came across the SCCOA. WOW!!!! So much info and knowledge.
Soon after, I met other SC owners and started talking to them. We have made very good friendships due to a car!!! Many of the club members here and in the NJTACC have done many modifications to their cars or have just decided to keep them due to the friendships they produced. It's an amazing marvel the automobile....it's made life easier and faster and has also brought people closer than ever together.
When surfing the boards, ask where people are from, if they want to hang out. The Canada boys and girls travelled to Carlisle together and we in Jersey have even met up with others from other states and countries due to these cars!!!!!
The club is like a huge family, we might not always get along and yet we all still like each other.
In closing, I have made some great friendships due to a CAR!!!! Thanks again to Duffy Floyd and George Davenport for the great leadership and Ron for all the great website hours.
Anyone that DOES NOT believe me, take the trip to Carlisle, see that it's like a family reunion every year.
