Look on the bright side. You have plenty of time to get your valuables out and then you can just let it burn and build a nice new home with the insurance money :)

as for perf , it sounds awsome !!!!
it reves fast and to 6,500with ease,
need to install bigger injectors ran it with 30s in it next 36s then 38s
want to find the right combo with stock pulley then 10%,
and tomorrow Jim demmits 70 mm tb goes on. with 36 lbs injectors . then 38s have to find right combo,
with each pully and tb,
the 30s are way to small. sort of a piston melter.
and special thanks to xr7 Dave for the help ,
he hit the nail on the head fuel reg was not connected to vac line.
pics soon it looks great in car and sounds like a f14 air intake.
wwhirrrrrrrrrrr!!!!
now to make a socal meet this thing is awsome!!

rainny season starts in november, now we need to worry about slides Im only 1/2 mile from mountains. 8-9 k high we aready get flash floods now we are going to get mud slides,
and probably get a large earth quake as soon as ground is saturated with water oh well could be worse we could live in a jerry springer trailer park in mid america. and get tornados.
or
live along a big river or well thats the price we pay for
living in a warm state with warm beaches with half naked women everywhere, and a movie star for a govornator,

about 8:30 i looked at hillside a small fire less than one square block,
9:00 its a mile wide,
10:00 its egulfed the whole mountain 9k high and 20 mides wide,
by end of day mountains had burned a total distance of 40 miles im in middle of valley fire started in middle,
it traveled at 15-20 miles an hour in both directions,
could not see half a block from smoke ,and ashes
my sc was apart and intake got full of soot,
my car looked like it was covered in snow,
went to help my sister evacuate and fire came down street at about one house a minute 50 or so burned in her area , including hers.
fire was hot got burns on face and arms, not bad just slight burns from intense heat,
my friends dad art died in fire in mountains, so ive heard,
its hard to get info and all streets are blocked by police ,
its like marshal law fire is over for me moved on ,
but is still killing and destroying lives,
I saw 30-40 familys with out homes
kids with no place to spend halloween ,thanks giving,
or x,mas
made me cry my sister her three kids are homeless,
all her naigbors, good people destroyied by some stupid jerk,
who likes to set fires for a kick.
my family is tight my sis and kids will be ok .
and we will buy her a new home , its only money,
and i have alot more than i need,
but the others all told maybe 400 familys lost homes,
to feel the heat the smoke the fear for your familys lives,
to be spared and have others home burn gives you a guilty feeling like I did something wrong.
I have to admit i was scared my family would not leave .
I was staying to water roof and yard sc,s ect.
they insisted on staying with me fire stayed away from us some two -three blocks
i fell so happy we didnt suffer the damage , but feel .
so sad for the others its still hurting ,
ive seen hell it came to my home town, and the devil is busy.
from my front window i can see the mountain towns burning .
its like seeing a baby walk in front of a moving car and not,
being able to save it,
kills me to look up hills i know whats going on

Just heard some late breaking news. The fire spread because of your recently ousted Grey Out Davis. The fire could have been stopped on the first night before it spread. There were two Air National Gaurd C-130's outfitted with fire fighitng equipment sitting on a runway not too far away. They could have dumped a combined total of more than 12,000 gallons of retardent or water on the fire. Davis refused to use the planes (don't ask, for some reason he still has some say for now, due to some law). Today, those same two planes are still sitting on the runway not moving, all thanks to that idiot. It is a good thing you guys got rid of him.
Hope everyone is safe.

My wife was a firefighter with the USFS for about 5 years. Every time I saw a fire like yours on TV I'd dread getting the phone call saying they were shipping her out.
One of the last big fires she got sent to was the Shasta/Trinity National Forest. She said it was the only fire she was on the whole 5 years that actually scared her. She thought about the kids a lot and couldn't do it any more.
Be safe. Hope the firefighters are all safe too.

I found a vacume leak looked and looked for it ,
then by accident I got the dumb idea to spray propane at setup,
could not find leak then as i was pulling away it revved up,
the iac has a crack in it . gonna put old one from 89 in it and try again. in about a hour.
took it for a ride yesterday with out a ic working and it makes same power as stock setup with ic ,
and this with a vacume leak and only making 8 lbs "leak"
i think she will run lean today with out leak and boost up to par,
i know run the ic I will first want to try it with out see how bad it is ,
Ill post in about a hour and post some pics too. so you can see it in car,

ahha some paying attention. hmm
well its a testimony to my lazyness,
actualy I have to swap my power steering pump out and was just waiting till i have to remove the bracket .
Im kind of stretched out at the moment ,
time is not a thing I have lots of ,
I have to work of other inverteds setups,
part out my other sc,
work on my exploder im selling ,
work on this sc,
help my sister with her mess and Im a volunteer for the fire victoms,
we had a blast last night giving out candys to the children of victoms who lost their homes,
I say victoms because some jerk set this fire,
he burned 1000s of homes and killed some great people.
im not going to get into it makes me want to shoot someone.
but the ic pipe is just sitting there, because Im lazy.

Manny is that a Harwood cowl scoop and if so what part # is it?
I'm gonna have to go the cowl hood route myself to clear my goody's and after talking to the guys that got FG hoods I dont think I want to go to the trouble or expense to use one.
Since they require just as much work to install a FG hood as it would to modify the stocker I think I want to take the route you did because I dont care about any perceived notion of saving weight with a hood.
