I made a post asking about the new Viper because my dad was looking into them... then he went back to the Corvette and now a Jaguar XKE or "E-Type." Any out put? its supposedly a 62 roadster that he's looking for... apparently its a 4.2L V6 that puts out 390hp or sumthing? any input anyone?

they only made around 300hp from what i remember, and run 0-60 in around 6.0-6.5 seconds
The E-Type is generally considered the most beautiful Jag ever made. VERY cool car. I don't know if I'd want the headache of maintaining one and parts probably will not be cheap, vs. an older Vette, but I'd sure love to have one. Saw some at some car shows in the last few months:

It needed some restoration, (paint, new seat coverings, carpet, and so on). Mechanically it was ok. It was a Hard top.
