Whats up peoples,
I never even knew what a Thunderbird SC was until my friend and his dad bought 2 of them. After going for a ride in my friends 93 SC I was smitten by the performance that these cars are capable of. I've always been a huge mustang fan, and my plans were to buy one and get it blown when I got out of college but things don't always work out the way you want them to. Instead some stupid *** lady made a left hand turn right in front of me as I was driving down the street and totalled my escort ZX2. I saw this event as a chance to get my hands on an SC so I started browsing autotrader.com and found a 90 Red Supercoupe with only 64,000 miles and the seller was the original owner who really took care of the car so I decided to check into it.
I brought my friend and his dad who I consider to be master mechanics when it comes to SC's and they checked every aspect of it and deemed it in great condition for a 14 year old car. Sure it had a few problems but in the end how could I pass up the deal. I'm really pumped up about this car, I've been researching these forums and everything else I can find on the net about these cars and I just love them. The only problems with the car is that they need rear shocks from sitting in the garage for so long, an accumilator for the brakes and a power steering pump. I was wondering if anyone knew any online vendors that might carry these items and about how much all three would cost. Also what would be the difficulty of installing these items. Thanks for any info you guys might have and I'm really excited about being a part of the SC community.

I got the accumulator for my 90 sc from Prior Remanufacturing - $99.

Do a search on this site and lots of posts will be found, all positive.

Do your friend & his dad hang out here on the SCCoA? Just curious if we might already know 'em.

Hope you have great luck with your new toy,

'bird

My friends Forum name is Brian93SC but I'm not sure what his dad's name is. They introduced me to SC's about 3 years ago and I've been in awe of their power ever since.
