Hey Jim, Lemon Grove? That's practically my back yard. I've been seeing a bunch of SC's lately, maybe you. What colors your car, lowered, etc? And hey EWDooley, how easy is it to smog your car? CMRE Stage II, saweet! Anybody in San Diego run their SC's at the SCCA Autocross. I'm getting mine ready for next year, maybe I'll see some of you out there.

Hey val, I have a white 89 aod with the black stripe whited out. I am over by Mount Miguel High School. I haven't tried my car at any track yet but it seems it would do well with my recently rebuilt tranny, raised outlet, exhuast mods, k&n, no air silencer.

Hey Jim, I know exactly where you are. I'm up the hill right off of Skyline, next door to Morse High School. I have a lowered white 91 aod. My head gaskets blew earlier this year, so...got the heads done right, bigger tb, Mac intake, bigger MAF, custom exhaust, grinded cam. Too bad I didn't have enough $$$ for the bottom end, brakes were jacked too so I had to take care of those first. I'm thinking of getting a Lentech early next year depneds on how many gifts I have to buy this X-Mas. Maybe I'll see you around, been scaring all the ricers lately.

So far so good....other than the idiots at the exhaust shops trying to charge me an arm and a leg for a semi-custom exhaust system (not even to my specs) and telling me I don't know what I'm talk'n about with my car!

al35thsc
04-11-2002, 05:56 PM
thats the shops in sd for you, trying to sell you what you dont want, and then charging you a lot for it

its like a hokker u pay 500 bucks for just talking to you

not that i have any experience with hookers mind you

Well, that soldier one is hosted at Jason Marsh's website I believe.

I get my icons from here (http://www.stopstart.fsnet.co.uk/). They are running SLOW today and they are taking a while for my work's DSL to dl. Go figure.http://www.contrabandent.com/cwm/s/contrib/dvv/cwmddd.gif

al35thsc

TBKHomeworld
04-12-2002, 01:50 PM
I work in central San Diego at a company called Bel Magnetics. I do all the computer stuff around here, AutoCAD, and now PCB layout and design. Sometime in June/July we are suppose to be moving to a new building in Rancho Bernardo. I get to setup our LAN and get a REAL connection. I'm hoping for a 3Mb/s SDSL. :-) They arne't that expensive and they are NICE when you need the bandwidth.

al35thsc
04-12-2002, 02:05 PM
what does your compnay do exactly? when i hover over the little computer icon thinggie at the bottom right hand corner it says Local Area Connection Speed 100.0Mbps

al

TBKHomeworld
04-12-2002, 02:15 PM
That's your LAN speed. That's how fast you can transfer inside your lane. If you want to get rates like that to the internet you need something a LOT better than SDSL. VDSL can get close, but the best thing to do is get an OC12 or something higher. :-)

Unless you have a spare $10,000 to $30,000 a month sitting around, then DREAM ON!

We do all sorts of computer parts. We produce the small chips that go on the motherboards, modems, NICs, etc. In fact, if your NIC (network Interface Card) is a 3Com it's probably got our parts on it.

AHA, I found it. I was looking for this thread for a while and thought I would bump it to the top again and see if the MODERATOR *smacks ron in the head to wake him up* would make this a sticky.

Weird though, look at all the people who came and went.
