I need to buy a code scanner. I cant afford a $500 unit but can afford more than some of the $30 units I have seen is there a good compromise that will give me code numbers rather than so many light flashes? I need something that will give me as much accurate information as possible. Thanks Tim

Thats a good qeustion and I'm interested in that info as well.
I've always used the CEL method myself but I'm getting older than dirt now and am all about easy now. Tired of counting blinks myself.
Why did I do it for so long? Thats probably whats helped to age me so much lately. LOL!!!:(

Mike I have somrthing that I am not going to fix with out one. Its either that or a gallon of gas and a match. I have never owned such a frustrating car in my life. I love it but its a real pain.
