1989 Thunderbird LX for sale + Cobra Cowl Fiberglass Hood

hey, got a 1989 t-bird LX for sale in massachussetts. Good for parts or fix. Blown headgasket @ 93,xxx miles but i will include all new gaskets. Interior is maroon cloth, pretty good condition with power everything, digital dash, and sunroof. Engine is fine besides those damn gaskets. Body needs some TLC, mainly just the rear quarter panels. It also needs a new hood, but i am willing to include a fiberglass cobra cowl (never taken out of box!) for another $400. Car itself is $400/bo. Any questions, just e-mail (sdonovan@mail.com)

is there coolant in the oil how long before you realized it was blown?

Yes, it had a beautiful milky brown coolant/oil mixture. I am not sure how long it was driven until someone realized it was blown, i got it from a guy i know who's niece owned it at the time. He had done all the work on it so he knew it well and he told her that he would not do the gaskets. It actually has 140 somethin thousand miles i found out (dashboard was switched). I had it up on ramps in my garage, drained the oil and was gonna drain the anti-freeze to do teh headgaskets the next day, but i didnt, and decided i wanted to look for a new car. so i filled it up with new oil, drove it off the ramps and parked it and it drove real well. I have all the gaskets, all that is needed is the head bolts.

when spring rolls around it is either gonan be sold on ebay, parted out, or junked, so let me know if you are interested.
