Ok this isn't SC related but I'll ask for the input anyway.
I bought a totalled SHO and a slightly bent 95 Taurus GL. I'm going to put the two together. The SHO is silver, the GL is white, both have grey interior. The decision is which color to go with.
I'm using all 4 doors, trunk lid & spoiler, GFX, fenders and rear bumper from the SHO. The body comes from the GL. The hood and front bumper is from another car so that gets painted regardless.
I think the area I have to paint is about the same either way. The dilemma is if I go white I have to paint both bumper covers and all the flexible GFX stuff. If I go silver I have the possible problem with color match on a 10 year old car. Which way would you go?
I guess I could paint the whole thing but that's a lot more work and material.
