My heart is broken,... My oil has been replaced with the creamy coffee colors of a blown HG. And I was just about to drop a few thousand into it to make it really look & handle great again. I welcome your advice on how to handle this situation.
1) Should I just do the HG's or the whole motor?
2) What will this cost?
3) Who could do this sort of work? The stealership?
Here is some background on the car:
Stock 92 SC 5MT (all avail. opts except the CD player & data center)
84,XXX miles (never abused,... well, VERY VERY RARELY )
Interior in outstanding shape, paint absolutely must be redone, body needs some work.
Garage kept first 3/4 of it's life.
Known to need EGR valve, and O2 sensors, & struts
I was about to fix the body, paint it, replace the struts & springs (lower car) when this happened. What should I do? Could it be worth it to fix it? The car is too nice to part out...
